Now I'm not a big fan of Valentine's Day, a few years back a friend of mine sadly decided to take his life on this day and it made such an impact on me. As much as it does stir up some sadness in me though, I do appreciate a day of proclaiming love for your other half.

Being the cutie he is, the boyfriend got me some beautiful flowers and an incredibly soft teddy! Also we sat down and ate some pancakes as we were both working on Shrove Tuesday so we never got a chance to make pancakes, and what's the point in having a crepe maker if we don't use it on Pancake Day!!
